An important key to a successful business is marketing. Effective marketing requires eye-catching and communicative photography. My clean, detail-oriented image making style gels perfectly with my passion for storytelling to create effective promotional images for websites, social media and print advertising. Each commercial photo shoot is different and has unique requirements. After some discussion about your business, your business goals and what you want to communicate with your promotional photos, I'll send you a custom quote.
Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of working with many businesses and freelance professionals to create images that reinforce their brand and add a new level of visual excitement and legitimacy to their web presence. Long gone are the days of text-based phone book or newspaper ads. A great visual website or social media page is how new customers are acquired - posting great photos and videos that show your prospective customers what you do and what you stand for are vital to growing a strong business.
One of my favourite commercial clients is the K-W Symphony Orchestra. I've had the pleasure of working with the orchestra since 2013, each year working to build a strong catalogue of promotional images, mainly of their incredibly talented musicians playing on stage, as though in concert. I've also created a number of studio portraits of music directors and musicians of the Symphony. These photos are primarily to illustrate the various concert series in their seasonal programme, but also on their website, social media pages and on banners. It means a lot to have become the K-W Symphony's go-to photographer and to get to help shape their visual brand.
Professional headshots are no longer just for actors and models. It's becoming increasingly necessary for professionals of any kind to have a strong web presence. Whether you use LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or an online portfolio or all of the above, your profile photo is your opportunity to make a great first impression. Show your clients or future employer who you are with an up-to-date professional headshot.
To give you an idea of the other types of commercial images I've created, here's a small gallery of other work I've done for businesses to promote their own products and services.
