It Feels like Fate
To say that Alexandra & Mike’s Roseville Estate wedding was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic safety lockdowns is an understatement. They had originally planned for a fall 2020 wedding, and rescheduled 4 times and switched venues multiple times – the last change of plans came only a few weeks before their wedding – but thankfully by September of 2021, they were able to make their dream wedding day come together in a spectacular way. Based on how things ultimately came together, it feels like fate.
Eventually, Roseville Estate became the backdrop to their wedding love story, and oh my god was it perfect! Not only is Roseville an insanely beautiful wedding venue, the stress-free experience of having everything all on the same property.
On-site Wedding Prep at Roseville Estate
While Mike and his party were playing lawn games and relaxing in the pool, Alexandra and her side were upstairs getting hair and makeup done. To make the best use of their day, the couple opted to do their formal wedding party photos before the ceremony. But first, they invited their kids, Zoe and Carter, to be part of their first look in the picturesque front laneway.
Roseville Estate Poolside Wedding Reception
Shortly after photos were wrapped, guests arrived for a short and sweet ceremony in the backyard, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour around the pool. Guests headed inside for dinner in Roseville’s beautiful reception space, complete with funny and heartfelt speeches. After dinner, guests headed back outside to party the night away at Alexandra & Mike’s outdoor dance party, inside Roseville Estate’s gorgeous covered pavilion.
All-in-all, Alex & Mike’s wedding was one of my very favourites in recent memory. Roseville is among the very best wedding venues in Waterloo Region. The experience they provide couples, their wedding parties, and guests is unparalleled. Besides the property being beautiful in every direction, it’s clear the full wedding day experience has been well thought through to provide the best possible day. I can’t wait to be back to Roseville Estate very soon to capture irreplaceable memories. Congratulations to the happy couple!
